    austinm, I recommend that you disregard the watch strap when looking at watches. Watch straps are easy and inexpensive to replace (unless they're steel bracelets). Choose the watch face you most enjoy, then find a strap to match.

    I have a Victorinox Infantry that my wife bought me a year or two back. It's a quartz movement, but I'm not really knowledgeable about watches so it works for me.
