I think majority of the items are sold out in the above thread. At least for the items I was interested in: Loakes and Balmoral Boots.

I'd be surprised if there is almost anything in this thread left. That's sort of the whole point of it, finding ridiculous deals for things that are on super-clearance because there's only a couple of sizes or items left. Lots of things were gone minutes after posting, like the C&Js fey posted a few days ago.

Yeah - something like this comes along once a year or so. Maybe next time I'll stock up, but each pair lasts me a while...

Bunch of drops on Yoox. This Valstarino is now only $85 if you're a 42 or 46.

Tan Alden chukkas for $325. Remember these are on the Barrie last so take .5 size smaller than you would in your normal shoe size. Unfortunately that means 8.5 for me which is out of stock.

I guess it's a good deal, but I’m not sure why Alden is a good value purchase even at the $325 price point when AE first quality can be bought for appoximately$225. Not trying to stir up the perpetual debate, but for me personally, I only want Alden for its signature finish shell offerings. I don't see how Alden's calfs are superior to AE's calfs. I think this is a case of paying a higher premium for exclusivity of Aldens rather than the ubiquitous AEs.

I've found Aldens to be more comfortable than AE's. I'm not sure if it's the steel shank, the shape of their lasts, the materials, or something else entirely but they are more comfortable. For me, the comfort is worth the premium.
