Hey guys. Really trying to find a well fitting peacoat to be a staple of my winter wardrobe. So I really want to find one that is ideal for me that I can keep for many seasons .

First up: Bonobos Halifax

Seems like good fabric. Not sure how I feel about the vertical bottom pockets and the side pockets that are almost chest level.

Contender #2: Banana Republic

This one feels pretty good too. It's the cheapest of the bunch at about $150.

Challenger #3: JCrew Bayswater w/ Thinsulate

So guys. Do would anyone recommend one of these or none of the above. In order of price it's Bonobos/JCREW/BR. The JCrew Bayswater is 100% wool while Bonobos and BR are 80% and 76% respectively. Not sure I need a super warm one as I'm currently living in northern California. I would like to buy the best fitting and looking peacoat possible so I don't mind paying a bit more. I wouldn't even mind paying a few bucks for some minor alterations if that means getting an item I can use for years.

I know there are some really sharp people on this board so I hope I can finally end my peacoat search! Thanks in advance!!
