"Tux or Suit" Christmas Party

Long story short I was invited to a xmas party in two weeks, and I was told the invite states "Tuxes or Suits for the gentlemen"

I'm not exactly sure how I have to interpret that, and it's foiling my plans. I had originally thought sure, just wear your navy indochino. It looks fine and it's the only suit you own that fits.

Assuming you don't own a tux, what would you wear to this event?

Ask your friends and coworkers what they're wearing. If you don't have a tux, don't stress about it. I'm sure you wouldn't be socially ostracized for that.
