    I love my jcrew factory chinos. I always get the classic fit. They are a bit thicker and not as soft as my BR chinos but I think that makes them more casual. It makes them feel more like work pants.

    Thanks for the responses. I think I'll look into the Factory chinos on Black Friday (my wife and her family are all going out at midnight to the outlets, so I'll probably end up tagging along for the experience).

    with the slim chinos, does it bother you if you put your phone and keys in the front pockets? like it's bulking out from the pocket and too tight.

    with the slim stuff, look for 2% spandex so that the pants are fitted, not tight

    Yea, at times it happens, some people actually like doing it for the distressing it will cause on the pant. I tend to keep the iphone in the jacket and keys (unlike my wife who seems to hoard keys. i keep 3 keys on my chain) either in my jacket or bag.

    I hunted for chinos for some time before stumbling upon the J.Crew Factory Bedford pants which I absolutely love. The fit and fabric is spot on for me at a $35-$45 range (on sale).
