I'm looking for an all-black watch that I can wear to work (shirt and tie environment, corporate finance) and throw on with a suit and not have it look totally out of place (not black tie events, more just have an important meeting that day). I have both automatics and quartz's, and don't have a preference. I have 2 Orient's and 1 Bulova in mind. I own watches from both of these companies and I'm very happy with them. Keep in mind that the Orient prices will be 30% off what's listed on their website. Please help me decide. Thank you!

I'd personally go for the Orient Ray Raven. The bulova just looks gaudy and the other orient looks way too busy for my taste.

Orient Ray blue if it ever gets back in stock. I may buy myself one for my birthday next month.

The Ray is definitely the best of those three. It's the best price and the most versatile.

Just to complicate things for you, though, here are a few more interesting black watches.

check out this open heart / skeleton style orient. maybe it's just the engineer in me, but i really like the ones with visible movements.

I like the Ray Raven, but I'm not sure a diver style is right for a shirt / tie outfit

JC nailed it. The Ray is a nice looking watch, but I'm not so sure about suit-worthy. The one unikron posted would be easier to dress up.

I know at least one world renowned fashion designer that would disagree with you guys.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think I will go with the Ray Raven. I was leaning towards that before (my fiancé claims it's because I'm a Ravens fan and my favorite player is Ray Rice), and this helped get me over the hump. Jason I think a diver can be tricky to wear with a shirt and tie, but I like a challenge in pulling something off
