too much going on with the shirt and tie? I thought the outfit would look pretty good with a solid orange/camel, but I don't have one.

edit: whoa, sorry the pic is so big

I think it works fine. The shirt tie combo may be a little loud but that jacket brings it back to earth. The patterns are much different in size so I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you are going to a interview or funeral I would say you are fine. Go forth and be dappered.

    What @LosRockets said.
I'll add sleeves too short, button stance looks way low, lapels look a little small. You can do better. JCrew/JCF? I can't get over the button stance on them...

Question: How do I fix this?

Notice the fabric going from either side of collar to the delts.

Had shirt made by moderntailor.com, I like the shirt but what the hell is going on here? I guess extra fabric? disproportionate measurements? Need to stand better?

I *think* the collar is down to how I was wearing it, but thanks both of you for making me feel better.

Nah, it was LE Doeskin. Love the cut, the pockets, and the fabric.

Long story short, I bought this jersey knit blazer from Nordstrom at XXL based on their online chart, but turns out that it's one size too big. They're all sold out so I can't exchange for a smaller size. I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to tailor or even shrink in the wash. Any thoughts would be appreciated

I have the same problems with my MTM shirts. The solution was to get the armhole wider so it did not pinch so much, granted you are then adding more material so there will still be a problem, my extra material was in the back of the shoulder then and not as obvious. Good Luck

Picked up the Broadmoor Quilted Jacket in Vintage Navy the other day from J.Crew wondering what you guys think in terms of fit.. if I should consider sizing down to an XS or if it looks okie, im afraid if i goto an XS it will be too tight throughout the chest and torso when im wearing a thick sweater or shirt underneath
