Stopped by the JCrew men's store to kill some time while the rest of the family was in Gap kids earlier this evening. Walked away with an $80 pair of pants for $15. I also picked up the Penfield Gibson jacket in navy since they applied the 30% off sale to it but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. Even at $110, that's still pricey for what is basically a rain jacket.

Love those brown AE's and Vicious great find with those pants.

Recent purchases: 2x wide knit ties from Knottery, Trafalgar braces (Ebay), and dropped $415+tax at Yoox today. HOPING I don't wind up keeping both items I purchased (a pair of Valstarino bombers). One's a S/S, one's F/W and if I could get just one in a tobacco brown or navy suede in my size I'd return both in a heartbeat:
F/W: Is this too dark? Looks like something I could wear in lieu of a coat, over a dress shirt, on a cool day. 85% wool, 15% cashmere

    S/S:

This is also nice and cheaper than paying for both of the above, but I don't think I like the color of the cotton ribbing: http://www.yoox.com/us/41459824JX/it...824JX&sizeId=4

    Love this one: http://www.yoox.com/us/41459800BQ/it...800BQ&sizeId=5
Not sure how nice the leather is, which is why I'm favoring suede and wool: http://www.yoox.com/us/41459798KV/it...798KV&sizeId=4

Were they the umber brown Bowery slim by chance? I tried on pairs with 32 and 34 waist but neither fit - a 33 may have... But the Ludlow and Bowery Slim don't seem to work well for me, so even for $15 I passed on them.

Of the ones you linked, I really like the navy suede and brown leather! Of the two images, I very much prefer the darker one. The color and style makes the S/S version look a bit like a jacked up Safari jacket.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Yup, guess they had them on clearance at all the stores even though they are showing full price online. I was surprised they had them in a 32/30 since that's a popular size. I decided to give them a try even though they said 'slim' and somehow they fit and don't feel like skinny jeans on me. They had another pair of pants in an off white color but I didn't even get those past my ankles before realizing they werent going to work for me.

Here's a little better pic (featuring post-drinking pirate beard). Hard to take pictures of a critter that is either moving or asleep.

Just bought a navy barbour commander jacket, I like it a lot. I would have preferred olive but the price was right. I've heard people say it fits odd- I'm a 36r and the small commander is a great fit for me. It is trim but I think I can squeeze in a thin to medium sweater without looking silly.
