I felt like Wolf of Wallstreet was pretty much a white collar version of Casino. That being said, I enjoyed Wolf a lot more.

I watched it with my future in laws, so that wasn't awkward at all.

Funny, I have a friend from work who said he and his wife watched it with her very conservative parents. Exact same reaction.

Haha, this reminds me of when I was young, watching movies with parents on the only tv. Kids will just be watching on their phone and not have to have these awkward moments any more.

Just watched Lone Ranger. Actually entertaining but I kept thinking "Here's Johnny again being the quirky sidekick guy".

Haha, too true. I distinctly remember watching Top Gun with my parents, and intentionally getting up and going to the bathroom during that love scene. Although in retrospect, the volleyball scene might top it in awkward eroticism.

Robocop (2014) - Pretty damn good. Perfect for turning up the surround sound and relaxing for 2 hours. A good look at a series of moral quandaries makes this more then just an action movie. The actor playing Alex Murphy was excellent (he was also great on The Killing TV show). Easily one of the better movies so far this year (and most of last year).

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Not great. A bit of a mess. Andrew Garfield was great as Spidey, Sally Field was good too but everyone else was meh. Although Jamie Foxx's take on Electro wasn't terrible. Wait for it on Netflix.

The Lego Movie: The internet was all raving about how much fun this movie was.....it was boring. Skip this one.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit: UGH! Everything just fell into place magically (*cough* *cough* Skyfall). This is a 'watch once' movie but if you need to kill a couple hours of your time then sure. There is a lot of potential here though so I would like to see them do another one and hope for something better.

Spider-Man 2: It would have been great to see a few years ago, but now it is just average. They tried to play it safe with the formulaic superhero movie, which is now pretty well established. No surprises, especially if you read any of the comics with Gwen Stacy.

Captain America was much better, even though I knew the reveal about Winter Soldier.
