I saw this HF sportcoat at a thrift store near here and I was really hoping it was my size... Unfortunately, no, it's a size 38.

I'll go pick it up and ship it to you for $40 (in the continental US), or if you have something cool to trade for it. Here's some pics (last 3)

It's more of a chocolatey brown than it shows there, more like the color of the lining.

FYI, you could almost definitely get $40+ for that on eBay if its in decent condition.

I'd say go buy it regardless of whether or not you are able to sell or trade it here, though I do appreciate you looking out for our community first.

Is it a 38R or 38S? How are the armholes?

38R I believe. The armholes are nice and high. HF stuff is always cut nicely.

    Single or double vent?

    That's my last question, promise!

Hmm... don't remember... I'm going to guess single, but it's just a guess

I have a question, you already own some HF stuff right Jason? How does their stuff run. In trim blazers (BR tailored fit) I'm a 40R but in more traditional cuts I'm closer to 38R. Thoughts on how that might fit?

It fits true to size for me. My HF suit is a 41R which is my real size. For reference the Brooks Brothers blazer I tried on at the store was a 40R and it fit... The 39 Brooks Brothers that Glen sent I had taken out a bit to fit better.

@glen, it's double vented. I went back and picked it up. The tag says 100% Baby C Hair, which I'm guessing is camel, and it says it's a 38R.

Thanks for checking, Jason. I can't pull the trigger just yet as I'm headed to the thrift stores tomorrow. Will keep this in my mental "watch list" but don't wait for me.

Great find! Wish I could fit in that, looking for a thrift sport coat like that or a grey/tan tweed but can't find any 36 in my area.
