I like black and brown. On another note, how are those Levi twill pants? What kind of weight are they?

Not sure how to classify their weight; I would say they are closer to a colored version of the 514 jeans than traditional Gap chinos. Relatively heavy? I like them, they feel like they will take heavy wear though I'm not sure how long the colors will last. I'm planning on washing them as often as I was jeans (maybe more for the lighter colors).

I bought them instead of the Docker's Alphas. The D1 fit too close, and the D3 fit twill pants were just a bit too baggy. So I spazzed out and bought 514s in khaki, brown, plantation (olive), and gray and they are now my work pants. People at work wear mostly jeans and I felt a bit out of place wearing dress slacks all the time.

@ Yacko - Seriously considered buying that Bulova watch myself, and putting it on a brown strap just like you have. Awesome homage to the Ryan Gosling Patek Philippe in Drive. http://cdni.condenast.co.uk/642x390/d_f/DriveWatch_GQ_16Sep11_p_642.jpg

    Going a bit casual today:

    Henley: Eddie Bauer

    T-shirt: Hanes via Target

    Pants: GAP

Belt: Nantucket via Sierra Trading Post

    Boots: Timberland Earthkeepers

    Watch: M1 Diver by Momentum

It's snowy and a tad bit cold so I'm wearing a black fleece jacket and my "fashion? I don't need no stinkin' fashion!" Kinco gloves. http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/phot...1391856_85.jpg By my college/mountain town standards, I'm still fairly dressed up. (Sad, I know.)

I didn't realize how wrinkly the pants were until I took the picture. Oh well!

@BenR Love the shirt / tie / jacket combo. Wish I could find some nice fall-colored ties like that at the thrifts

Yup, that's OTR. I know some folks here are't crazy about Banana Republic jackets but for me they are the best fit I've found, their 36R is almost perfect in the "tailored" fit. My go-to suit is BR, too.

Is that jacket really bright yellow? If so, that is baaaaaallsy. Way to rock primary colors without looking like a 12-year-old.
