Very nice styles, I have always liked the looked of plaid over stripes. Whats that black line on the waistcoat? Is it piping?

Thanks MaxMan. The black line is my work lanyard. I went with a black one so it wouldn't clash too hard with my outfits.

Me in my new Schott 654 jacket. I've been saving up and I finally pulled the trigger. I'm over the moon.

    Jacket: Schott
    Jeans: Uniqlo
    Boots: Red Wing
    Sweater: JCrew

And, no, I didn't suddenly get shy; the light in my apartment just made this angle with my head cut off the best one.

Good fit on both the jeans and jacket, Shomas.

Thanks all. Re. The Uniqlo selvage, I love it. These jeans fit me beautifully, they look great, they're pretty damned durable (two years of urban adventuring and counting), and the price was RIGHT.

I think I'm in some sweet spot for uniqlo's fit, though; their clothes almost always fit me great, so depending on your particulars, your mileage may vary.

SDot, I like the idea of that outfit, but the blazer is extremely tight and very short. I don't think that it is a good look.
