Yeah, they came back great -- have a thread on it, the 'before' was pretty nasty: http://threads.dappered.com/showthre...ter-in-bourbon

Dang..that is quite the recraft. Do you find the cost worth going the recraft route over spending a little more on a pair of seconds, or waiting for a steep discount on firsts (walnut McAllisters were $197 at Bloomingdales a few weeks back)? I understand with bourbon now as there's no real alternatives if you want to keep the bourbon color. This has definitely given me confidence in getting my bourbon pairs recrafted if I need to.

Especially on bourbon, I wouldn't do seconds from what I've seen. Medium brown is what I need in my collection and McAllisters fit my feet well, so it was worth taking a flyer.

Yes. A Washington and a Washington half. The half is blazer, the full is a suit.

99% of the time I really like you're style, but, personally, I just can't do the dark suit in a smoother weave with anything but a white or very pale blue spread collar shirt. To me, it looks like casual fighting with formal with oxford button down.

I hope everything goes okay at the service.

I agree here, and also just a plain white pocket square and black necktie if you have one. If you don't have a plain white square, it's best to go without. A memorial service isn't the kinda place where you wanna flex your style on plebs. It looks like the Napoli fits great though!
