Hmmm, maybe a glass-front china cabinet, or a Billy bookcase with glass doors and interior lighting.

Can leave a rack open for taller boots, though I find only 7/8 inch boots need to have an overhead rack removed
It doesn't get much dust really. The overhead panel is waterproof so no dust falls on the shoe/boot below.

And it takes only 3 min to quickly roll an OXO duster in between the shoes every several weeks or so, it both removes the dust and offers a quick polish.

This picture makes me want to take all of my shoes out of the boxes and bags so I can enjoy them more often by just seeing them--because I don't get to wear them enough.

How many pairs of shoes does it hold?
WHY ARE THE GUYS IN SUITS HERE? HAS SOMETHING GONE WRONG?

Ití holds 4 shoes or boots per tier. So a 10 tier rack can hold up to 40 pairs. Itís holding 36 since I ended up removing one tier.

Iíve tried other solutions from furniture grade bookshelves , open rod racks, to full enclosed shoe and boot plastic Stackable boxes. In the end, I thought the key factors were to see the footwear for easy access and to keep the nasty debris from the bottom of the boot/shoe from falling directly on top of the pair below it. Keeping it vertical as much as possible leaves a smaller foot print too.

Thereís probably a more robust full metal or wood solutions but this one does its job and in a way disappears leaving just the footwear on display.

Basically once you have enough pairs ,If you canít see them you wonít wear them.

    Hope this helps

Tell me about it. I've got about 50 pairs now. And I work from home. I don't get to wear my shoes enough.

I'm going to start to thin the flock.
