    If it has loops, wear a belt. No loops should have side adjusters or buttons for suspenders. Only exception in my mind is pants with both loops and buttons for suspenders.

    I would note this conversion process is about the easiest sewing exercise there is aside from darning a sock or something like that.

    Wear what you want to wear. Taller frames are better with a belt than without as it helps to visually break things up a bit.

    End of the day the only one you have to make happy is you. With suits, with belts, and with all things in life.
