    Spier and Mackay Shirt sizing

I think I've asked this before but I searched and couldn't find the thread and forgot what the consensus was. Ugh old age is tough.

I've read their shirts run very slim.

As a point of reference I wear a 15 1/2 33 in Brook Brothers in a Regent fit.

Is S&M's slim fit similar to BB regent or would their contemporary fit be a better match?

    Thanks.

I think Regent is the old BB Slim Fit. I find that BB Slim Fit was still bigger than S&M Contemporary fit. I would take the shirt you like and measure it then compare to S&M. That is likely the best solution to figure out your sizing.

S&M is very good about posting exact measurements online, while Brooks Brothers is not (although maybe a customer service rep can help with that). Shirtdetective.com is also a good resource.

Generally speaking, I think S&M slim fit would be the closest proxy to regent, but I wouldn't be surprised if S&M slim was actually a bit slimmer.
