Are the hoodie alternatives on the main page, really alternatives?

I did feel self conscious this morning leaving the house with my most recent hoodie purchase, but I also did ponder putting the hood up in the walk to the car, so it was a pretty good choice, all things considered.

I have a few hoodies. Mostly wear to sporting events (figure if I'm eating in a seat/get a drink spilled on me, I'd rather just be able to toss in the wash) or when tossing around the football outside. A few years back, I had a softshell which replaced most of my hoodies for errands https://www.outsideonline.com/193419...shells-reviews and recently purchased a Patagonia Better Sweater, which is a good layering piece.

I have worn the Banana Republic Striped Shawl Sweater mentioned https://dappered.com/2016/05/brgapol...-day-shipping/ to sporting events a couple times.

S&M for a cat that stole a hoodie seems pretty extreme. Wouldn’t a squirt bottle be just as effective? And less whippy?
