I never bought into the white sneaker craze. Not because they don't look good, but because I don't want to keep them clean. I've become like a lazy-dappered person.

i wear my suede shoes way more than my calf shoes because i hate polishing shoes. brushing? takes maybe 10 seconds. applying nano-protectant once in a while? another 10 seconds.

If you want to cheat, the Saphir whitener stuff works decently as long as the tennis shoes are already very white. It's basically liquid paper for shoes with no extensive cleaning required. It does not work on off white shoes unfortunately... those require actual cleaning.

I have various pairs of white sneakers. The leather ones are not difficult to keep clean. My all white chucks are a different story.

With apologies to my AE collection, I'm throwing out my shoe trees.

Unless there's something wrong with them, I'd bet you could donate them or sell them instead of tossing them out.
WHY ARE THE GUYS IN SUITS HERE? HAS SOMETHING GONE WRONG?

I don't like broguing. I find it unnecessary and unattractive. Wingtips don't do it for me.

I thought the same when I was young. Wingtips were for old guys.

Now I'm old and most of my favorite shoes are full brogue wingtips.

    I guess I was right.
