    Swims Loafers?

Does anyone have a pair of Swims? https://swims.com/collections/loafers?page=2

I really think i would like these for the pool etc, but they are far to expensive in my opinion. Anyone have any that could speak for the quality? Any alternatives that you have used that are the same or close enough but cheaper in price?

Very different - not loafers at all - but in a way with a related vibe of colorful, cool and not clunky are Adidas Climacool boat shoes. This year I've had three women compliment them - including one who has tremendous style (there was a NY Times article about an aspect of her life done with a bunch of photos, in part, because of her style).

I have them in that color plus one with all navy uppers.

I don't think they're made anymore but I have some venetian loafers by Sperry (Seaside loafers) that are all blue leather up to with a white boat shoe sole. Got a compliment once for those - "I wish my husband wore shoes like that " - and I don't wear them often. It was these - they are a bit sleeker than that photo suggests:

Ahh, and I see that Sperry makes a women's loafer/sneaker with the similar name now, with a mesh upper and other difference that looks cool:

Nordstrom Rack sells Swims starting about $60--a big discount from the website you linked to.

I wanted to buy some for years (since seeing the Talented Mr. Ripley) but was afraid they would look too feminine. Finally got some recently and I am so glad.

Err on the larger size if you go with Soludos, I am normally a 7.5 or 8 and the 8s are perfect.

I have 2 pairs one of them are great, crazy comfortable perfect for sand/water. The other pair did not hold up as well, the ends of the shoe laces came of the first week and became loose on the foot.
