    Watch strap/bracelet question

Ok, so about 12 years ago I was gifted the following watch:

    https://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SNQ045-...22214467&psc=1

One of my kids trashed the bracelet, which resulted in the piece connecting the bracelet to the watch being lost. I have taken the watch, which works perfectly, to two authorized Seiko dealers and both have told me that the watch is out of production and the bracelet cannot be replaced. I have looked at black bracelets from several sellers but all of their black bracelets are too dark for this watch, which is almost a "light black" if that makes sense. So, my question is if there are alternatives that might look good with this watch? Leather? Mesh? Different colors or fabrics? I'm open to anything just because the watch has sentimental value and I hate getting rid of a watch that works. Plus the perpetual calendar is pretty cool too.
    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried contacting Seiko directly? Manufacturers sometimes have overstock of stuff like that in their warehouses.

You could wear this on just about any standard colored leather strap (black, brown, tan, even grey), a black, brown, green, or OD nylon strap, or rubber. It will look best if you get a strap with matching hardware (either black IP or maybe gold). You can buy extra buckles separately so don’t stress out if you can’t find a strap that comes with exactly the hardware that you like.

I rather like the way that gold or cream colored accents on a watch complement a brown or tan strap, so that’s probably what I’d try first.

I would experiment with different leathers I guess. Canvas feels too informal.

OP is missing the end links, so this probably wouldn't work. But, good find!

Black matte leather or rubber could work as it would match the "dark" black of the watch's face. Then choose a strap with gold buckles.
