Need Help picking a Wedding Tux

Hi, I need help picking out my Wedding Tux. I narrowed it down to Charles Tywritt and Bonobos, tried both of them on and they both fit and look nice to me, Cannot decide which one to go with. Thoughts/suggestions/insight would be appreciated!

Bonobos is just a bit more fashion forward (shorter jacket, slightly thinner lapels), but otherwise they both look good and what matters is that you feel good in it. A few notes from a quick look:

    1. CT has functioning buttons, so if you need to get sleeves altered, that's something to take into account (aka it could be much more expensive as they may need to work from the shoulder on the CT jacket).
    2. The front/chest button on the CT is a bit odd from what I can tell from the pics--a side-by-side button situation? If so, not sure that's as much my style, so would likely go for Bonobos on that. YMMV.

I know you didn't mention this, but I HIGHLY recommend the Suit Supply tuxedo options (I have the peak lapel tuxedo): https://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/eveningwear_package

The Bonobos is less formal with the flap pockets, venting (which won't drape as well) and pointed shawl collar, but not so much that it'd quickly look dated. What will stand out in wedding photos in years to come is the overall cut being so slim for either one. You could always tuck the Bonobos pocket flaps, of course.

Hard to see on the CT if the pants have the proper velvet or braid trim over the side seams; it's not visible in the high-res images and the low-res images are too pixelated to tell.

Two things catch my eye. One is the lack of a waist covering. Not only is a covered waist traditional, with the current fashion for high button stances the exposed white shirt triangle below the button is almost inevitable. You can see it in all the images, in fact. If you do go with a vest, make sure it has a low opening (two to four close-spaced buttons) to complement the shawl collar's depth.

The other is that neither website identifies the lining. You do not want to be wrapped in polyester, or even acetate, for an occasion such as this. A breathable lining in Bemberg or another rayon variant is a must.

I second this. I bought the peak lapel tuxedo and it fits really well. Alterations weren't included in the price, but I'm really happy with the final product.

The CT is a much prettier jacket. If you're down to these two and are considering no other options, go for the CT. The flap pockets and vents are inappropriate for a tuxedo (depending on how stringent you want to be).

That being said, everyone else is right: the best option at this price point is the SuitSupply one.

Depends on your age, style preferences, etc. But I think CT is a bit more timeless, and would age better, regardless of the trend.

Nobody else is bothered by the double button closure on the CT? Interesting. While I'd consider a cummerbund an accessory (as opposed to part of the tux itself), that's part of the reason why the white shirt triangle is so pronounced on that jacket.
