    Chino shorts or other options?

Hey guys, for years I wore J Crew Stanton chino shorts: rotated through different colors, adding some during sales.

The last few seemed thinner to me and not as great or expensive for what they are. I also wonder if the look is moving away from these kind of shorts.

I would mostly wear these at weekend family events, with polos and tees. And to wear to our laid-back church, soccer with my son.

What do you look for in shirts, outside of athletic shorts? I was looking at Lands End, Old Navy, JCF, Madewell.

I like the linen blend shorts from old navy. I havent checked BR to see if they have a trickle up option but I have been pretty satisfied with the ON shorts.

Being in hot and humid Atlanta area, I look for a light weight material first and foremost.

I've tried different brands but always come back to Bonobos. I like them better than anything else I've tried. The other thing is that they have slim and standard fits. I prefer a chino short that is slightly more fitted than most brands sell and Bonobos slim fit is perfect for me.

The pair of UNIQLO chino shorts that I bought in Japan in 2015 are hands down the best shorts Iíve bought in years. Iím
not sure if the chino shorts they currently offer in North America are the same, but I would imagine they are similar.

I've been liking the Jcrew tech shorts I got recently. Lightweight, stretchy, slim, and look good. Don't have any issues where it with tees, polos, etc.

What does the material look like? Is it an obvious tech material?

Personally, I don't think it looks too tech.

Thatís enough for me then. I will order a pair and give them a shot. Do you think the online color is pretty representative of the actual color?

Khaki Olive and Navy were pretty good on colors.
