I've been pleased with them. I got some Nordstrom shoe trees during the half-yearly sale and would say the two brands are comparable. I bought the Cedar Elements in bulk from Amazon, and my only complaints are (1) they ship them loose in a big box so they move around during transit, and there were a couple that had broken handles when they arrived, and (2) there was one set consisting of two right-foot trees. I emailed the seller via Amazon and they promptly fixed both issues. Can't beat the cedar smell when you open the box though -- intoxicating.

That's what my wife tells me. And to a woman who's into Marie Kondo, that's a dangerous thing I just keep telling her they spark joy.

That's incredibly helpful, thanks! My local AE store has fewer red shoes on display than you do!

I definitely prefer the BS bordeaux to the AE oxblood. Those Durants are really beautiful. Now if I could just decide if I like bordeaux more than I like AE's chili...

I got them from TheTieBar.com. I believe they are the Navy color, if I recall correctly.

Excellent review, thank you for posting.

Although I'd wager the odor of the shoes may not necessarily remain as favorable as the other factors.
