    Lightweight suit colors

What color is most versatile for a lightweight suit? This will be mostly worn to summer weddings. I don't wear suits to work very often, but this happens on occasion. I'm thinking either light grey or a light blue.

    Thoughts?

Light blue, just because of the season you'll be wearing it most.

Light grey, coz you can combine it with any color scheme.

Probably light blue. If you're in the eastern part of the US, I'd suggest going all-in with light blue/white seersucker. But you need to not mind standing out a bit.

I wear my tan cotton summer suit the most of my lightweight suits, but's more for dressy business casual, not weddings.

Medium grey would be more versatile, if you don't have many suits and you're also planning on wearing it in a business setting.

Light grey or sometimes it's called stone.

Light grey first, then if you want to branch out, a light blue and maybe a tan cotton. All three will work great for the summer wedding circuit, but the light grey will be the most versatile (of the three).

I am in the gray camp here preferably in a fresco wool fabric. You will also want to look into breathable shirt fabrics as well to keep with the theme.

Light grey. Wear it with a light blue or white shirt and a conservative, even black, tie and black captoe shoes and it can be very formal. Wear it with walnut strands or even tassel loafers and it can be informal. I have a basketweave suit I got for cheap at Banana Republic that has become a go-to for summer...
