    i think you need to adjust your expectations a bit.

    at best they make kind of dandified work boot pattern boots, with softer leather.

    Not to mention all the high-end technical hiking boots with glued soles that are lined in a waterproof breathable membrane like Gore-Tex. Presumably similar to this weird new AE shoe, incidentally.

    LOL my man, OG made in England Docs use an unusual hybrid goodyear welt and the made in China ones are about as waterproof as any made in China mass production boot. As for the rest, we were talking about boots, not galoshes. No need to get all righteous about a minor misreading on your part. We’re just talking about clothes on the internet.
