    I didn't even get on the scale this week as I knew it wouldn't be good. Daughter's college graduation party added to it.

    We are celebrating with a week in New Orleans so there will be a lot of eating and drinking coming up this week.

    I'm not going to worry about the hopefully temporary weight gain and just focus on the good time.

    The diet (and the scale) will still be there next week

    I'm joining up. I'm 5' 11" and currently weigh 205 at 20.5% fat.

    My max was 220 at 28% fat. About 8 years ago I lost 25lbs and 10% body fat following a slow carb diet, stronglifts, and so jogging/sprinting for cardio. It was great but I never did reach my goal of 15% fat and probably around 180lbs. I care more about the fat so whatever I am when I hit 15% fat is fine.

    I started back on the diet yesterday. Restarting my gym membership tomorrow. I was hoping to continue training in martial arts, but can't make the class times work with the new baby schedule. Time to stop letting that get in the way and just go back to picking things up and putting them down.

    Bad bad bad week. On the road. No gym time. Crappy food. After work beer. I'm wearing the crown of shame.

    Back on the program tomorrow. Don't even want to look at scale right now.

    It turns out that cutting back on the all-too-available candy at the office can have a huge positive impact. Broke the 200 lb mark last Friday morning, was 198 on the screws this morning.

    For the next month, I am about to switch to over ~60g of carbs on off-days, and ~200g on workout days. Will add 20 minutes of conditioning to the end of each workout, 10 minutes on off-days (probably just burpees or hill sprints), and weighted vest walks every morning. I'll be completely burnt out after about 4 weeks, but should be about 20 lbs lighter. Will cut back on the off-day conditioning after that, but still keep the weighted vest walks each day.

    I waited a bit too late to start leaning out for summer, so I need to slim down ASAP. I'm 245 right now, ~20%BF. Not fat at 6'2", but 225 suits me better.
