    Chelsea boot catch?

Recently ordered a pair of new republic chelsea boots since they seem to be getting great reviews. The size was not quite right so I am returning them.

However one thing I noticed, which seems to be the same problem I have had with similar shoes, is the back pull tab constantly caught the hem of my pant leg which bunched them up in back. Everytime I sat down or took too long of a stride it happened.

Is there a secret to wearing boots with the pull tab on the back? What am I missing? I see lots of people wearing boots like this without a problem.

How slim is the cuff opening on your pants?

I have that issue with mine. I think it is just part of owning a Chelsea boot.

Had that issue too, and I don't wear my pants slim. I had the tabs cut off. Maybe don't hem your pants too short so it won't ride up above the shoes when you sit.

I think that is the solution.

Or get yourself a pair of cowboy boots and don't look back.

His jeans are tight and are stacked at different heights. The bottom hem of his pants probably don't ride up so much when he moves or sits.
