My OCBD collar spreads oddly - help!

A lot of my work wardrobe is from Lands End. Year-Rounder wool pants, and tailored fit oxfords. But, I've noticed that the collars on my oxford shirts tend to spread open oddly. Folding down and spreading outward. Anyone else notice this?

Any ideas? I've read somewhere that using starch spray could help, but I'm not exactly sure how I would even do that.

Should I look at a different brand of oxford dress shirt?

I might be mistaken, but I believe that would be considered collar roll and is a desirable trait in an OCBD. I know I certainly prefer the look on the second shot for my shirts.

Pictures wonít load for me but based off of what you said Iím going to guess you are referring to collar roll. Short answer is that collar roll is a good thing, not bad.

FWIW Iím wearing my S&M OCBD today. Collar roll and all.

This is how they are "supposed" to look.

If you don't like it, and arent a heftier gentleman, OCBDs from Uniqlo and JCrew have shorter collars which don't do that. The JCrew OCBDs have normal arm length, while the Uniqlo OCBDs have long arms for some reason.

If you're larger, I'm really not sure who makes an OCBD for you that doesn't do the roll, apologies.
