Wide dress shoes that aren't AE

I have a wide foot. I have nothing against AE, but are there other footwear companies that make wide shoes? And, no, I don't want to size up a half size. That just swaps one issue for another.

Cole Haan and Florsheim do. I'm sure there are others.

they do, but they're both very very hard to get a hold of, and not really constructed very competently.

You will find about 130 models of wide shoes on the Herring website, including shoes from Herring, Church, Barker and Loake.

Prices are from about $150 US to $700.

I love my Herring Premier shoes. You can search just to include wide shoes:

Alden, most quality English makers, almost anyone who does MTO along with the ones already mentioned above sell wide shoes, www.zappos.com also for not so great brands.

Zappos has them. In the US that's pretty easy.

I second Johnston & Murphy. Not AE quality, but definitely a solid pair that will last a while
