Another brand I might recommend is Bluffworks. Their chinos come in cheaper than Outlier, they offer them in regular as well as tailored fits, and a range of waist and inseam options. I have one pair of their Gramercy suit pants and I find them comfortable and functional; but, not quite as breathable. Others have commented that their chinos are lighter and more breathable. I also had very good interactions with their customer service. Hope this helps!

Take a look at these wrangler outdoor series at Target also:

they're dead ringers for Prana Zions but a helluva lot cheaper. They're $24 on the site but i saw a pair on clearance at one Target for $17 and at another for $7 (not a typo). I actually like the wrangler's better because:

-the leg openings don't flare out like the zions
-the side pocket is much more subtle and barely noticeable, especially on the black ones.
    -much much cheaper!

i had a pair on a recent trip (hawaii; temps were in upper 80's and humid) and they worked out great

Goodthreads (Amazon brand) is worth a look too. Slim-ish fit, bit of stretch, feel great. Loving their shirts too, finally found a line that fits me.

Old Navy Straight Built-In Tough All-Temp Five-Pocket Pants are great. I have a pair and they are lightweight, breathable and have some stretch.

GAP and BR has some solid lightweight pants selection, with some stretches too. That should help you stay comfortable.
