Speaking of sales, B&S just sent me a discount code for Chukkas. $169 for a pair. Code is LAVAL.

That bordeaux color is gorgeous btw. I have a pair of their chelseas and a pair of their tassel loafers in it. The color is exactly as represented in the online pics.

Me too, but I've also been looking for an excuse to buy more!

    Maybe this is it.

Which ones do you have your eye on?

Their lasts are sleek and elegant, their leather is real supple, and their patinas are gorgeous. If one likes patinad shoes and doesn't have something against Blake stitched shoes, 50% off PE is hard to turn down.

Yes, I received that as well. More tempted by the Paul Evans double monk strap Chukka.

PE for 50% off is a better deal. For me, the temptation is the PE Stewart in Havana Brown or Cagney 2 in Tobacco. Or, worse, both.

yep, first thing that came to my mind after seeing their website was combat gent-- both the product quality and branding. I wonder if moral code sources their leather from their own herds of cattle?

I don't mind people getting a commission for reviews, but they had better be honest reviews, not reviews designed merely to sell.
I don't trust anything as a real review if there are no pictures of the product after being used. Which means I don't trust any of Business Insider's "reviews."

BI is not a news site. they get paid by a company to "write an article" about them and drive in traffic with aggressively promoted and spammy marketing links.
