Need a shirt to go with this tie!

My wife bought me this tie. I am terrible at matching shirts to ties. It is linen. Recommend me a shirt...only requirement is that it be slim fit! Extra points if you have a link where to buy! Thanks in advance!

Iím thinking a pale blue shirt would be your best bet, with a light grey suit or blazer. I also have similar colors patterned on a bow tie thatís navy blue. A navy shirt might work too if itís not too adventurous. But for business, definitely pale blue that you can find from most retailers.

If that's as orange as is appears on my screen, I'd agree with pale blue. Grey would work, but it looks like the base of the tie is a neutral off-white, which would look odd against a solid grey (neutral on neutral fare into each other).

It really depends on how much of a statement you want to make. Purple and green stand out against orange, though you can decrease the contrast with pale or pastel purples/greens or ramp it up with dark, saturated royal purple or forest green.

To get a similar effect without it being loud try patterns, especially office-appropriate thin stripes. Grey and orange, navy, purple or green could all work in the right proportions.

White can always work. I think light blue and pink should do fine too. Pattern is pretty strong, I would be cautious with another strong pattern.

You didn't state a budget, so I went with a flat Benjamin. Milano fit checks the slim box, and pale blue makes a great non-offensive background for that tie. Second the recommendation for a light to maybe mid gray suit.
