I'm looking for a quality pair of brown leather chukkas. Unlined/unstructured is preferred, so basically Clarks Desert Boots. I have tried CDBs multiple times, but I don't like the toe shape, and they just don't work with my feet.

I have the suede Macalister boots from J.Crew and I love love love them. Perfect shape, lightweight, minimal structure, etc. I have ordered a pair in the pebble grain leather to see how they look, but I'm not in love with the pebble grain. Maybe an in-person will persuade me.

I also have ordered a few pairs of the Red Wing Heritage Chukkas to check out in person.

I've already tried Astorflex; I don't like the toe shape.
