Solutions to mismatch Suitsupply pants and jacket?

    Hey all,

I picked up a navy blue SS York from someone on the forums here, who was an honest broker, so the problem doesn't come there.

The suit, I think, had a mismatch between jacket (40R) and trousers (40S, I think), probably when sold (I've seen some mismatches like this on the rack at SS). I'm a 40R, 5'11", so the trousers when let all the way out, end up with a *slight* break. I recognize that such is fashionable now, especially if I were younger (I look about mid to late 30s), but there's not really room to change as trends move around slightly, although I probably wouldn't go down by more than a further 1/4 inch.

I do actually think that SS probably mismatched by mistake, but since I am not the original buyer, I can't do the simplest thing, which would be to take the receipt and exchange.

So, I guess the question is: Is there anything I can do about this? Should I do anything?

There's a member of styleforum who works for Suitsupply and is helpful with getting situations like yours fixed. I'd recommend reaching out to him under the suitsupply affiliate thread to see if there are workable solutions.

Ah! Great. Do I need to know his name, or should I just post?
