Bump on the insole of my new shoes, will it even out?

I got a pair of chelsea boots from Gilt, and while they're mostly fine, just under the arch of my foot, it feels like there's a big lump, where the heel padding blends into the rest of the insole. Is this something that will wear down with time? Or should I send them back?

Or possibly it's a function of the new heels that haven't been worn down by use.

I had a similar problem with a pair of Thorogood work boots. The bump never went away in my boots, but I added an extra thick insole so I don't really notice it.

Same thing on a pair of Thursday boots. Debating on whether to exchange or add an insole. I have enough room to add the insole so I may go that route.
