I think I like the Orvis a lot better. London fog is kind of crappy, but its cheap. Orvis is an old American company, but the jacket is "imported." Both are kind of Harrington knockoffish. Just looking for something light but but a little nicer than my light puffer.

I own the Orvis. Great jacket for the price. Can’t speak to the London Fog jacket.

The Orvis Weatherbreaker is a very close copy of the Baracuta G9, which is the original "Harrington" worn by, among others, Elvis Presley, Steve McQueen, and the fictional Rodney Harrington in the TV series Peyton Place. Weatherbreakers are MUCH cheaper than modern G9s. Orvis stuff is pretty well made for mid-priced clothing. The basic form is classic.
