    Home suit treatments

I have a few very subtle stains on a suit jacket...I'd rather not risk taking it to a cleaners because I honestly don't trust them. Any suggestions on how to spot treat some simple stains? I've tried to just lift them with a wet rag and water, but in natural light they are somewhat visible. Simple stains = normal everyday soils you may pick up from just being active in a suit (I was at a wedding and had some alcohol splashed on my back).

Try covering the stain with some baking soda rub it in a bit, let it sit for awhile, then shake it off?

Also what's the material? 100% wool? Cotton? Wool blend?

you can also use a very small amount of dish soap (very small) and sport clean if you use cool water, and let it dry completely you should be fine. No guarantee, but may be worth a shot.

It's 100% wool...so just dry baking soda, rub it in, then shake it off?

My biggest fear is I take it ti the cleaners, pay for a dry clean, and the stains don't come out. Then I've wasted my money.

Also, regardless if any of the home remedies work, find cleaners you trust.
