I lucked out. I walked into Plato's Closet and these were on the shelf in my size!

I have a pair from the first run. They're nice shoes and they fill a good niece in my wardrobe. Hope you guys that are looking to get a pair manage to find a set.

I'm on my third pair. They seem to last me a spring/summer or two at most. They don't send to Canada these days, so I dunno what I'll do next year since the heel looks like it' gonna rip though soon.

How often do you wear them? That doesn't seem like a pretty short lifespan.

They're a white shoe, which tends to no have a great shelf life on their own. I tend to like my shoes not look haggard. But the ones that I have now are about to blow on the heel of the sole. The soles are pretty paper thin, but I also spent 3 weeks in Greece in them last year, which included walking on rocks often.

There's an interesting article in GQ on the popularity of the Killshot and Dappered gets mentioned...well the Dappered Instagram account.

Cool to see Dappered getting some play in GQ...

On the topic of the Killshots though, I can't help but think this is a case of Tickly Me Elmo, Cabbage Patch Kids (for those of you old enough), or more recently the Nintendo Wii. Were any of these items 'must haves'? No, definitely not. But were they hyped up so that everyone believed they need to have them? You betcha!

I own a pair of said shoes. And I like them. Do I feel I overpaid for them? Definitely. My Stan Smith's are less money but a more comfortable and better quality shoe IMHO. Does that mean I regret buying the Killshots? Nope. But then again I'm one of these people who don't understand the need to line up to get the latest iPhone, or spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on a pair of never worn Nike Air Jordan's either. So I'm definitely not the target market.
