    It is. At first I felt funny about keeping a dive watch on a leather strap, but now - I ever submerge to 1000 feet, I'm going to go ahead and wear a suede band. I'm sure it will be strong enough to stay strapped to my wrist bones until they find me eventually.

    I am in the "no leather on dive watch" camp but I openly acknowledge it is a silly point of view. Leather doesnt respond well to water over time but its not like I swim in my dive watch on a regular basis or anything.
