    Thoughts on cream dial watch?

I have one and find myself not wearing it much because I don't like the idea of a cream dial and shirt with white. I only wear it if the short has zero white, including pattern. Crazy?

    Ha!

You're not crazy, I have the exact same aversion for the exact same reasons.

Well I have been validated by at least one person. That was always enough for my ex wife to be convinced!

White dial goes with lots of things.....cream dial goes with a few things. I always opt for versatility when possible.

Cream can be just as versatile as white. It depends largely on the style and design of the watch.

Personally I rarely wear white shirts.

Hmm, I find my cream dialed blue handed Orient Bambino to be very versatile. Now that I think about it, I don't know where it is. But when I did wear it, and I wore it a lot when I first bought it, it went with a lot of outfits.

I often wear shirts with white as at least the base color. Like gingham, tattersal, Bengal stripe, etc.

I've never thought about it. I don't have any white shirts that aren't dress shirts. I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't deny that cream dial watches are versatile, or can look good. But every cream dial watch I've ever seen I'd rather have in pure white. Almost all of my casual shirts have some white in them, and if I'm wearing my crisp white dress shirt, I want a crisp white watch dial to match.
