    Question I Need Boots!

    Hi Everyone,

I am headed back to the Northeast from Southern California for the holidays. As you can imagine, it's boot weather there. I need a new pair of boots that won't break the bank and I can justify only wearing for a month out of the year. We would all love some Wolverine 1000 Mile but that just doesn't make sense for as much as I would wear them.

    Specifics:
    Size: 11
    Cost Conscious
    Timeless Style

    Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

    Best,

You may want to check out Timberland Earthkeeper boots. Decent price and good construction.

Chippewas if you're going the workboot route, Timberland Earthkeepers if you want something dressier.

And dude, I live in Texas and wear boots year-round.

I have the Classic Moc from the Heritage line, but at $270 from Nordstrom they may be more than the OP was willing to spend. It took a full two seasons to break them in, but now they are incredibly comfortable.

When the weather gets cold here and I don't need to look super smart, I wear these every day

These look good, if you like the color and don't mind suede. They do have other colors at this price. $170 Made in USA and I believe they're Goodyear Welted. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/red-wing...esults-_-1_2_B
