    Feeler: Brooks 5th Ave Brown 13D

    Anyone interested in a pair of just-recrafted brown Brooks 5th Aves in 13D? These were seconds, I think the imperfection is in the cap being slightly slanted. I can get pictures up if anyone's interested, was mostly wondering if anyone out there wears this gigantic size and would at all be interested. They're obviously in fantastic condition.

    @andrew5 @kilboua @thebigq

    Since it's seems there's some interest, I've gone ahead and whipped out the DSLR to get some pictures.

    I got these less than a year ago. My true size in the 5 last is 13C. I was hoping these would work out, but all along they've just been too big on my narrow feet (and I've lost weight since then). As you can tell from the pictures and the relative lack of creasing, they haven't been worn much. Always in trees when not worn.

    A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the welt on the right shoe appeared to be coming apart. This didn't surprise me, I think one of the reasons they were seconds was an error in the stitching on the welt. Took them into an AE outlet and he sent them in. Less than two weeks later, they were back in my hands, apparently recrafted, free of charge, which I assume also means they have a new cork footbed. Everything looks fine now with the welt.

    (I don't have a price because I'm honestly not sure what these are worth)

    ^this is the left cap, which is fine, but I think you can see from one of the pictures above that the cap on the right shoe is slightly slanted.

    The shoes have not been worn since they were recrafted (and will not be).
