Looking for some advice here before I shell out on a new hoodie for another winter in Chicago. I have heard great things about the American Giant hoodie (http://www.american-giant.com/mens-h...weatshirt.html) but was curious if anyone has picked one up. I see from the sizing that they tend to run a bit small. (I have dropped almost 50 lbs this year but am still north of 200 lbs. I am 6 foot 2 with a 44 or 46 inch chest, so a loner length is always appreciated). I am also looking at Flint & Tinder 10 year hoodie (http://www.flintandtinderusa.com/hoo...en-year-hoodie) and the sizing there looks to be more forgiving.
If anyone has experience with either item, I would love to hear about it.
It wasn't extremely small. I would recommend going with your true size, and not sizing up. But I wasn't too impressed with the material: seemed rough and likely to fade easily.
No experience with American Giant hoodie but I had their gray sweatshirt and id agree with LCDR, it wasn't the greatest sweatshirt Ive seen. Nice but nothing to write home about. I do love their long sleeve tees however, really nice thick cuffs and hefty material.
Huckberry used to sell what looked to me like the perfect hoodie. I've been searching for the name of the company for the last few days but just can't remember. All I remember is something about them being "handmade" with high quality materials by a Canadian athlete or cyclist or marathoner or something in his spare time. I remember his story being on their blog, but I can't find it for the life of me. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
EDIT: Okay, I think the company might be Reigning Champ. Their prices are higher than I remember though, and they have a MUCH larger product lineup than when I was looking at them maybe a year ago.
I'm pretty sure this is the one I was thinking of... http://shop.reigningchamp.com/collec...htweight-terry
