any issue with hanging my suit jackets over my chair back at work?

my cube is set up where the wall is 7 inches thick so its near impossible to find an affordable coat rack to go over it

Is the Fitzgerald cut from the BB 346 line the same as the BB main store cut? I saw some items online that I cannot try on in store and wanted to verify.

It's not ideal. It will cause distress to the fabric.

Maybe a sturdy picture hanger tacked into the cube wall to hold a hanger would do the trick?

This might solve your problem: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ZHGBP2M5M6JYQR

BTW I have no experience with said product. Just did a quick google search. Here's the finished product:

And here's the original website I found it on: http://cubiclebliss.com/cubicle-hang...-out-my-top-5/

Seems to only work up to 2.5", so not 7", but I wonder if OP could track down ones that go further.

This may be a silly proposition, but what about one of the larger 3M Command hooks, and have it stuck to the top/non-felt (or whatever you have) portion of your cube? Seems easy to mount and easy to take down in case of a move.

My buddy liked my Clarks Bushacres and decided to pick some out for himself. After looking he asked me what I thought of the Bushacre Ridge. Looks a bit more structured and a little more going on with the sole. I'm not sure what to tell him. What do you think? better than the regular Bushacre or Desert boot? Worse looking?

Does anybody have experience with the Thompson trench coat from J. Crew Factory?

    https://factory.jcrew.com/browse/sin...&bmUID=lJ4SRXJ

Does anybody have this and can speak to its quality and breathability? Also, how water resistant would this be compared to an all-nylon trench?

@teethtime I would also stick with the original desert boots. FWIW I'm also not a fan of the leather they use, its tough and can be very uncomfortable to break in. On the other hand I find their suede options to be great bang for your buck.
