these aren't typically worn around an office environment are they? I'm tempted and that's the only justification I can find for ordering a pair. i already have the ae daltons.

Depends on the office. These would work pretty well in most business casual/smart casual office environments. But probably not for an office that requires jacket + tie.

I'd say it's a step down dressy'ness from the Dalton, but these could still work just fine in a office casual environment.

just a heads-up, nordstrom will price match, even if STP doesn't have your size (at least the girl I got let me). She let me deduct the extra 20% off, but not a 30% for signing up for STP's email, but still a great deal if they don't have your size.

Deal was for 35% off, and it wasn't for signing up or anything. Total for me was $143 w/ tax + no S/H. Mind is still blown by this.

good looking out dude, i just bought the tan and black pairs. the only thing stopping me from buying the brown too was the fact that i have the wolverine 744 that are just too similar to justify another boot lol

This is definitely a good idea. Also, you should make sure your cobbler knows how to deal with the oiled sole. It doesn't take well to the cement they typically use, so if he doesn't know what he's doing the rubber will peel off easily.

Anyone that got the black or tan - mind explaining your thinking? I honestly tried to talk myself into those colors and failed
