I decided to start a new thread for this, because as far as I could tell from a quick search, Marlondo Leather has only been mentioned in passing and I'm sure some of you are curious about their stuff (or have just flat out not heard of them). I'll go over the ordering process for them, customer service, and of course, the quality of the briefcase I received. Let me know if you have further inquiries!

Bourbon review show - Bourbon Famous
https://www.facebook.com/bourbonfamous/
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSB...rmDgDkqDcZ373g
My friend and I just published our weekly bourbon review show and have our first two episodes up (Intro and Daily drinkers). New episodes will go up each Friday, with some written reviews interspersed as well. We're hoping to have a more fun and approachable bourbon(and whiskey) review show, that will help let people know what to spend...Last edited by pjanastasi; October 27, 2017, 11:50 AM.

GAP classic stretch blazer - photos and thoughts
For anyone interested, here's a quick review of the GAP classic stretch blazer: (http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=523298002 )
- Twill with a bit of stretch.
- Fit (S) is nearly spot on on my 5'10" 170 lb. somewhat fit frame. Nice soft shoulders. Sleeves are a touch long, and unfortunately the cuffs are functional.
- Labels are still a bit on the narrow side but overall proportions are indeed classic and...

The Italian Cotton “Club” Blazer--11/2 Dappered Post
I wanted to give my 2 cents on this item in today's post. I have it sitting on the back of my office door right now, and planning on taking it to the tailors this week.
http://dappered.com/2015/11/quick-pi...ff-sale-items/
This little jacket is legit. everything that was posted about it is correct. the buttons and the "M" patch are both subtle, yet very sharp. The only drawback is the length...

Blog Post about Affordable (<250) Watches
This tumblr blog posted a couple articles about a week or two ago about the best watches under $250 in various categories. It also offered some interesting feedback on the origins of different watch styles and how they got popular. I enjoyed reading it, and I thought you guys might too. I also hoped it might generate ideas, recommendations, discussion, and the like.

Part Two
As an aside, his watch...

REVIEW: Wolverine Courtland Boots and Comparison to Alden Indy Boots
from bloomingdale's, $216.00 on sale.
I couldn't pass up this recent deal on first-quality Wolverine Courtland boots from bloomingdale's. This is my first purchase of anything made by Wolverine, so this is my initial impression review of their boots. I am going to do this review a little differently, and perform a direct comparison to the Alden Indy boot, since the style is so similar, and they are often mentioned together. The...

REVIEW: Filson Original Briefcase
from Notre, 168.36 on sale.
I looked at several sites for Filson bags, and notre-shop.com seemed to have the best sale on Black Friday. I have never shopped there before, but they had 33% off on that day. I was debating between getting the navy or black Filson Original Briefcase, but they only had black in stock, and even then it was backordered 1-2 weeks.
Construction:
This is a small-medium...

REVIEW: Alden x Epaulet Navy Chromexcel Shortwing Blucher
from Epaulet, $375 on sale.
Construction:
I just got in my items from the current Epaulet sale. This is a wingtip blucher made by Alden, in a navy chromexcel leather, with agatine eyelets. It has a natural tan flex-welt outsole with Goodyear welting. It is made on the Aberdeen last, which is toward the more narrow spectrum. The toe box is sleeker and more tapered than the Barrie last.
The packaging is new...

REVIEW: Alden Snuff Suede Flex-Welt Chukka Boots
from Epaulet, $510 retail.
Part I:
This is my first suede chukka boot purchase. I looked at a few other brands online, but I really liked the shape, construction, and quality of the Alden flex-welt. There are several options for ordering online, but they are usually the same price and seldom go on sale. Alden seems to be gradually raising their prices anyway. I ordered from Epaulet just because they seem to have...

Review: Baracuta G9 Original/ Harrington Jacket
from Baracuta, $390 retail.
I found that my Barbour jacket was a little too rugged for certain situations, and my sport coats (1,2,3) sometimes too formal. To fill the gap of the casual jacket, I chose to go with a Harrington jacket. I like its clean and simple sillouette, and its versatility.
There are several makers of the Harrington-type jacket, but I wanted to try the original brand: Baracuta....

REVIEW: Brooks Brothers OCBD in Extra Slim Fit
from Brooks Brothers, 3 for $229
With the convergence of a $40 rewards card, $20 birthday reward, and the corporate event sale, I decided to revamp my winter casual button down shirt wardrobe. The Brooks Brothers Button Down Collar Dress Shirt is considered to be the original OCBD and an American staple. The collar design was borrowed from Polo players in England, who would button down their collars to prevent them...

Review: Ledbury Dark Blue Warwick Sport Coat
from Ledbury, $625 retail.
I was looking for a more casual navy blazer to replace my Brooks Brothers jacket. This one has a beautiful deep blue color, with textured hopsack fabric. Half-canvassed, lightweight, unlined, unconstructed, and no shoulder padding. The shoulders have an almost shirt-sleeve construction. Patch pockets, double vents, medium lapels. 100% wool, and made in Italy.

Review: Ledbury Blue Edmond Herringbone Sport Coat
For my first experience with Ledbury, I purchased this Ledbury jacket during the recent Labor Day sale. This will be my third sport coat in my wardrobe (my other ones are a solid navy cashmere coat, and a brown patterned tweed coat). I was looking for this to add on as another fall jacket. Original price $675.00, sale price $499.00 + 15% off, for a final price of $424.15. Shipping was free.
It arrived by FedEx with a nice garment...

How do Frank and Oak shirts fit?
I'm looking to order some shirts from Frank and Oak (I really like many of the designs) but, due to their store-credit-only policy, am a little hesitant to place the order without knowing how the shirts fit...
Anyone out there have an experience with them? I usually wear a Tailored Slim in size Small from Banana Republic for reference. (But I wish they were a bit shorter, a bit slimmer, and had higher armholes...)
Any...
