FS - Minty Frank Clegg Port Brief Briefcase

Maybe we’ll all work from home more even after this is all over, but I’d like to think that there will always be a place for beautiful men’s briefcases, and it’s hard to think of one more beautiful and timeless than this Frank Clegg Port Brief.

As you can see from the pics, this is as pristine as it can come short of ordering directly from Frank Clegg. As part of the package you get two keys and key tags as well as the dust...

    Leather conditioner for a jacket?

I've got a black leather jacket I've been wearing for a few years, and once a season I condition/clean it with Urad. I don't love this product -- it dries tacky and doesn't seem to condition very well (I live in an arid climate). I'd be grateful for any suggestions on what's worked for others. The jacket isn't the highest quality (not Schott or anything), but I like it, and I'd like to keep it supple and looking good.

  • Assessing briefcase leather and construction quality?

I stumbled upon this briefcase ( in my travels which seems to be hand made full grain leather. If so, it looks like it may be a steal, but would like to evaluate whether it's worth the dough (that price isn't dollars, but still). What should I pay attention to? Any heuristics?

  • McAllister vs. Strand / Walnut vs. Dark Chili

    Short version:
McAllister vs. Strand? Why? + Dark Chili vs. Walnut? Why?

    Long version:
I'll be ordering my next pair of Allen Edmonds in a few days and have decided to bring some brogueing into my life. I've admired the Strand and the McAllister for quite a while and just can't manage to decide which one I prefer. They're both beautiful. For those of you with experience with one or the other (or, ideally, both!),...

  • Thursday Boot Co. now selling leather jackets.

Saw these come across one of my feeds today. Thursday Boot Co. is now in the leather jacket business. Not too many offerings right now, a moto and flight were ok. The pricing doesnt seem too great, but I thought I would let you all know. I don't know how to feel about a shoe company venturing in to outerwear and such, a lot of the time it is hit or miss. I get it though, they want to expand their line and create more revenue.

  • Marlondo Leather Briefcase & Ordering Review

I decided to start a new thread for this, because as far as I could tell from a quick search, Marlondo Leather has only been mentioned in passing and I'm sure some of you are curious about their stuff (or have just flat out not heard of them). I'll go over the ordering process for them, customer service, and of course, the quality of the briefcase I received. Let me know if you have further inquiries!

    I'm graduating...

  • Discoloration from sweat in new leather boots

As I was walking on this first day of real spring weather, I noticed that sweat was soaking through my newish leather boots where there was some creasing. Now that the sweat has evaporated, it's left these discolorations/stains(, even after I treated them with a vinegar/water solution as per the interwebs. Any ideas how to address this or should I try to get an exchange?

Do you condition your wallet, belt

or leather watch straps? I know most of us condition our shoes, but do you condition any of your other leather products? I was thinking it might be a good idea to condition my wallet, as it sees daily wear and might extend its life. I have conditioned my belt in the past.
