Gentlemen,
l have been a regular to the site for a few months now and love the tips and style advice. So thank you!
I am however new to the discussion thread - as this is my first post - and haven’t had too much time to read through the different posts and topics.
With all that said, I am looking for some style help for my body type. I am a decent looking early 30’s single male professional type, but am...

Looking for flexible and comfortable pants
Hello Dappers,
First time poster and big proponent of Dappered.Com. I am looking for some recommendation on flexible and comfortable pants for both work and leisure. Living in Atlanta, the heat and humidity takes a toll on you. I am seeing stuff from companies from Rhone, Vuori, etc. All seem to be similar in style and pricey. Ideas? Thank you in advance.

Is non-stretch denim extinct? ISO slim fit jeans
Look, I don't begrudge anyone their pairs of comfy stretch denim, but I guess I'm just a traditionalist and like the substantial feel of old school, non-stretch denim. I'm having a helluva time finding a pair of slim fit jeans that aren't stretchy, though!
Can anyone recommend a place to get a pair of non-stretch, or at least not-super-stretchy jeans? Under $100, preferable under $60. I used to shop at Banana, Gap, and Levis but all...

I need some advice
I recently purchased a pair of Taylor Stitch selvedge jeans. They are cut with a 36" inseam which is waaaaay too ling for me so I took them to a seamstress to have them hemmed a bit. I asked to have them left 2 inches longer than the correct length to account for some minor shrinkage and because I like to roll them up . I got a call from the seamstress today, she did not check her notes and cut the jeans for the measured length and did not...

Review of Banana Republic Traveler Jeans
I tried on a pair of BR Traveler jeans in-store last year and immediately fell in love -- they were the most comfortable pair of jeans I had ever worn. They were pricey, but luckily they were on sale. I chose a versatile black pair of jeans and left the store with a lighter wallet than I had intended, but still satisfied.
Not too much later, I washed my traveler jeans... and was immediately horrified. The jeans were destroyed by the...Last edited by vai; August 4, 2017, 12:55 PM.

Lightweight jeans recommendations for summer
I'm looking for recommendations on good lightweight jeans for summer. I live in Central TX, and I know that it gets hot as f*ck, but I just need something for summer evenings/nights and air conditioned locations, for when I don't feel like wearing chinos.
I own a pair of Gustin's Cone Superlight, and they were fantastic. But the shrinkage in the wash (cold water, Woolite Dark, gentle cycle, hang dry) was way more than I expected. And...

Nordstrom selling $425.00 Dirty Jeans.
Saw this on the news this morning. Nordstrom is selling mud caked jeans to make it look like the person wearing them actually works hard. Is this real life?

Denim Advice
Gentlemen of Dappered,
I have tried looking through the forum but after a while of trawling, I ended up not finding so much. So I thought I'd post a thread to ask for the collective advice of you well dressed men.
I'm {fairly} trim at 6'3" and 175-180lbs usually rocking a 32" waist and 38" chest. Surprisingly, I only have a 32" inseam so I have a decently long torso on a relative basis.

Can anyone recommend a good jeans roundup thread/discussion?
What I'm looking for:
- Under $60-70 or so (though flexible)
- Slim, not skinny
- Looking for 2 colors: dark indigo (dressier) and more of a grey/blue (casual) shade that will look better with navy shirts
- No high contrast (white) stitching - would want to be able to wear them with a blazer - dressier jeans
- Leg openings that aren't too...

Menswear brand recommendation/Made in USA
I've been very happy with my experience buying from www.toddshelton.com
They worked with me to get my jean fit totally dialed in. I just ordered my first shirt after going through their shirt fit process.
Highly recommend if you're tired of searching for the unicorn fit.
