What 501 color should I get?

    Hi Guys,

Trying to decide which color you guys think I should get in Levi's 501. Below are the colors that I'm considering from Macy's:

    Dimensional Rigid

    Tidal Blue

    Blue

    Thanks for your input!

Of those three, I'd go with the last one. Seems to be the true indigo choice. I'm not a fan of the distressing on the other two.

      I'd vote blue

I'd would also vote the blue from those listed, but I think you would be better off with these from Levis.com:

You could always try them on at Macy's then buy them online. They are cheaper there too.

They're all pretty similar. I think any difference is just nit-picky. :-) I would be looking more at the distressing, but their don't appear to be any wrong choices there (at least in my eyes).

Thanks guys! I think I will go with the ChrisW suggestion and get the ones from Levi's direct.

              Hey JICarv,

One thing you might want to think about besides the color of the wash itself: stitching color.

I bought a pair of 501's recently in clean rigid which looks nice, but the bright white stitching makes it look a lot more casual.

I'd HIGHLY suggest picking a stitching that's more subtle. (Gold, black, etc). Just looks nicer all around.

Dimensional Rigid or Blue. I'd probably go with Dimensional Rigid if this is going to be a wear-a-lot pair.

Total fan of Clean Rigid. Joe recommended it in his $1500 wardrobe, and I walked into a Levi's Outlet Store, asked for a pair in my size and walked out, never happier.

Mine have tan stitching - not sure that they make a bright white like you're saying, zerostyle - and I consider them more formal than the bee yellow stitching that my brother has.

I agree about the wrinkly distressing on the dimensional rigid.

i got your option 3 in blue and black and i am very satisfied they go with everything, and the lack of distress makes them seem nicer then they are
