    Cheap Work Bag

About to start an internship this summer and will continue working the following year. I'm looking for an extremely affordable, but stylish canvas bag to bring to work everyday to hold my lunch, folders, laptop, phone etc. I will be wearing shirt and tie or full suit everyday, so it has to look somewhat professional, but I'm not really looking for a briefcase.

Anybody have any ideas? Not looking to spend a lot of money either!

How about this Canvas with leather accents, and not expensive at all.

I just received this one for my birthday and I'm pretty happy with it. Its the STM Scout, I have a 13" Macbook Pro and it fits in the small. There is a medium for 15" sizes as well. Feels very nice, I really love the strap and its comfortable. There is an additional cushion on the strap, but I took it off and just use the normal strap.

Here it is in Olive or Black (I guess black is a new color, I didn't see that before). I personally have the Ochre color, its a tannish color. eBags must be out of stock on that.

Its enough to hold your laptop, 3 pen/pencil slots, a small zipper compartment, a small area that could fit a paperback book or 2 or a couple magazines/folders. It doesn't hold a ton.

I can't speak to the quality here, but you might check out Ossington bags. They run around $70 bucks on endless:

I have this Ben Sherman Commuter Bag in taupe, and it's a great, inexpensive option.

You can find it on most internet resellers for $40-50.

The sides aren't every rigid, so a neoprene case is a must for your laptop.

Don't know about fitting a lunch, though...
